Carl DeSalvo, President & CEO

Carl DeSalvo President & CEO Carl has more than 30 years of EDA and Semiconductor industry experience, with a proven track record of selling EDA products to key semiconductor companies. Carl has consistently delivered outstanding revenue results in both pre-IPO startup environments and in large established EDA and Semiconductor companies, deploying new EDA IC design, verification, power analysis and optimization solutions to revenue-generating customers. He started his career at Fairchild in the 80’s, was part of the original Cadence team and managed their Place-and-Route products in Europe. After completion of this role Carl became the World Wide Technical Account Manager at Cadence for Motorola and in three-years raised revenue from $15M to $28M.

Carl has vast multi-cultural experience, living and working in Europe. His career spans many successful positions at the following companies: Cadence, Synopsys, Gambit Automated Design, Mentor Graphics, Sequence Design and Sigrity. Carl has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Jamshed Qamar, COO and VP of Sales & Services

Jamshed Jamshed has an extensive 33 years of EDA and ASIC Semiconductor industry experience. He has held numerous senior management positions while at OKI for 23 years, and was instrumental in establishing the North American ASIC market for OKI Semiconductor, and Jamshed has an established expertise in working with EDA vendors and parent companies in Japan and throughout Asia, implementing ASIC design methodologies to ensure 100% first-pass silicon success.

Jamshed has cultivated strong management and technical relationships in his vast rolodex of semiconductor companies, and is an integral part of the sales process to win customer designs. Jamshed has an Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University, specializing in VLSI Design and Communications.
